Loose Notarial Certificates📜

The notary certificate is the part of the document to be notarized that contains the notary language or verbiage. The wording in this section indicates to the notary what type of notarization they are required to perform - most commonly, this will either be an acknowledgment or a jurat.
The document you are notarizing must have appropriate wording. This means that if the document does not have notarial wording, you cannot proceed with notarization. You will be required to attach a Notary Certificate a loose certificate is a notarial certificate that is not part of the original document. It is attached to the document's signature page, usually stapled or paperclipped to it, and used when no notarial wording is provided on the document.
